Coast to the Cure – On Road Bike Ride September 7, 2013 Stage Fort Park, Gloucester, MA

The Coast to the Cure Bike Ride – Road Courses will begin and end at the beautiful Stage Fort Park on the ocean’s edge in Gloucester. Riders will travel through coastal communities and rural towns of Boston’s North Shore. The ride takes you along beautiful rivers, lakes and bridges and past New England churches, town halls, and farms. The terrain includes rolling hills and long sunny flats through towns such as Boxford, Manchester-By-The-Sea, Hamilton, and Essex. The 100 mile ride takes you further north through Merrimac, Amesbury and Newburyport.

There are three picturesque routes to choose from ~ 24 miles, 66 miles, and 100 miles. The 100 mile route has six full rest stops. The 66 mile route has three rest stops and the 24 mile route has one. Plus, there will be a fabulous barbeque waiting for you when you roll into the finish line at Stage Fort Park.

Registration opens at 6:30 A.M. Century riders leave at 7 A.M. and staggered starts will follow.

Here are the “Ride with GPS” maps and cue sheets. The website allows uploading GPX files for your Garmin.
**Rider Beware routes could change – A final cue sheet will be given to you on the day of the ride**

Online registration is below. Riders must be 18 or over; helmets are required.

Registration is $50 and there is a $150 minimum fundraising requirement – for a total of $200. All those registering will receive a t-shirt.

Riders raising over $300 (not including registration fee) will receive the 2013 commemorative jersey. Funds must be raised by July 26th.

Post ride barbeque is included in the registration fee. Guest are welcome to attend for an additional fee:
